Make sure he knows it's a serious thing before you tell him and sit him down. My cousin suffered a concussion when he fainted after his wife told him. Nothing changed though, he's still a dumb-a$$. lol

i found out today that i was pregant..and my boyfriend works 2nd shift and i work 3rd so we dont see each other much. I called him though like 1/2 hr. before he went to work..and said ''honey im pregant'' he said ''shut the f up you are not'' i was like ''yes i am'' and told him my expected due date..then it set in!! Just prepare yourself on how he will take it..(i did) and then go w/the flow.

If it's good news, tell him by bringing home a bunch of balloons saying "congratulations daddy."
If it's not good news, tell him you've got to have an important talk, and just spill the beans. He's going to need to know if you want him to be involved in decisions you'll be making, etc. Or you could take him to an appt. with your gynecologist and tell him there. Just tell him and ask him to get involved.

do you mean because you are worried to tell him or because you want to suprise him?
If you are worried - just tell him, do it face to face and tell him
If you are trying to surprise him, make him a Father's Day card or get a birthday card for him - my friend told her mother by having a cake made with Happy Labor Day on it, that might work - or you could make him a special dinner and tell him

Just come right out and tell him. It's as much his responsibility as it is yours, and you're both going to have to figure out what to do about the situation, as he has paternal responsibilities just as you have maternal ones. If he's a real man, he'll help you to deal with the consequences of your mutual actions. Good luck.

First prepare urself for how u think he will take it, so u are not dissapointed. If he won't take it well, tell him when he is in a good mood. If he'll be happy w/the news... be romantic about it.

Tell him that you have experienced a not-unexpected result of your recent activities together (if he's the father). Then you should make plans to marry. :-)

Treat him out to a nice dinner and tell him that you have something really important to tell him. Let him know how important he is to you. Then tell him that you are preganant and let him touch your stomache.
