I would have to say that they are very cute yet not domesticated and the chances are even if you had it from a cub it would stray back to its natural instincts, go out and get youself a domestic pet or why not volunteer at an animal sanctuary that way you would have the best of both.
Do you have a fox already? We have lots of foxes round our area and they are funny yet noisy buggers, even one of my cats play with them.

I don't think you would want a Fox as a pet, they cannot be house trained at all and would crap anywhere they wanted. Also their crap smells AWFUL! They will destroy your fixtures and furnishings and will wreck everything that is not screwed down. Dogs like to roll in their **** and will attack them on sight. Take them out on a lead and you are asking for trouble from dogs. If you have a Vixen it will scream at night, I assume you have heard this? It sounds very much like a baby being bayoneted, would you want them doing this at night in your house, or even in the same room as you while you are sleeping? Think about it. Or rather forget about it, it is not worth it.

Yes - but not sure if you'd want to.. Any animal can be kept as a pet apart from rare/endanged or dangerous..
foxes are naturally teritorial - so they would stray to mark their territory.. And they make a racket!!

Definitely yes. British law allows it explicitely in the famous lex foxicus, which goes back to the reign of Edward the Confessor.

No, it's not allowed with any UK animal unless you are a registered snctuary. Besides, you really wouldn't want to, they can be very smelly.
