We spend less than one percent of the federal budget on foreign aid, one of the lowest percentages of any industrialized countries in the world. Per person, Denmark spends more money.
And if you think our country is falling apart at the seams, you have never been to a poor country. Even our poor are blessed compared to them.

Well, the politically correct way of answering this is we are helping others, so that when we are in need of their assistance we will have some allies on our side.

Quite frankly though, we are not getting any help right now while over seas. Our soldiers are dying and no one is stretching out a hand. I think the government is just "trying" to look good. I am not sure who they are looking good to though. It is a waste.

because the U.S. would be mean and bad if we took away support from others countries. And we are paying some dictators to not hurt there own people.
Other countries are depending on the U.S. way to much and we would be looked upon as rude or bad if we pulled out support

I wonder the same thing. We have starving children and homeless families here, but send tax money to help other countries. It doesn't make any sense to me either. I have no answer for you, but that's a great question!

good question,I am only 42, had a heartattac, I have lost everything,bank account is gone, been living in an R/V for the past six months,in Illinois tried to get SSI ,they replied in their letter, You're only 41, well now im 42 my health wont permitt me to work,then oh boy a levy breaks, they get everything i worked my life for talk about pissed off,they stick us then prod us
