A regular address is your house address where you live and can get mail at and a P.O Box is located at the post office and usually requires a small fee and instead of bringing your mail to your house you have to pick it up at the post office at a box they give you with a key... p.o boxes are more private so if you don't want anyone getting in your mail or seeing what you get its the better way to go.

A P.O.Box address is where your mail goes to a post office and is put into a specific box so that you and only you can get your mail but you have to go to the post office when you want to get your mail.
A regular address is when your mail is put into a box just outside of your house.
If you travel a lot or can't check your mail everyday a p.o.box would be best
If your going to be home all the time and can get your mail or have a friend get your mail every day a regular address is easier.

A P.O. Box is when you have a mail box at the post office. You have a key and just go there and your mail is there. If you have a regular address that means your mail box is in front of your house and they bring your mail there.

Po Boxes are located at a post office or other mail service center. They are not necessary for most people. If you live in an apartment or home you will not need one. The mail will be delivered directly to your address. If you are temporarily living at a residence, you may want to use a PO Box to receive mail until you have a permanent address. Welcome to the US - hope you have a great experience here.

letters addressed to a PO Box get put in a box in the Post Office. The person has to then go to the post office to get the letter from their box. Letters with regular addresses go right to the house.

If you have a PO box, you are the only one that can pick up your mail at the post office where there is a box and you have the key. If it is delivered regular address, it will go in the box at your house or abode.

If you have a PO box (post office box), you have to go to the post office to pick up your mail and pay for that box you use. In a regular street address, the mail is delivered to your house and you pay no extra money for it.
