Blackberry leaves, along with raspberry leaves and strawberry leaves, are excellent treats for your rabbits. Rabbits enjoy them, thorns and all.

My four year old houserabbit and two year old houserabbit both enjoy the occasional Blackberry leaf, it doesn't upset their tummies. If you are unsure of what is and isn't safe for him to eat, then do an internet search for either 'rabbit welfare' or 'houserabbit'. Obviously I can't advertise on behalf of any associations etc., But this is how I found some really useful information, links and telephone contacts for bunny stuff. My Bunnies are grateful. They cope okay with the spikey bits on holly too, don't be alarmed though as it makes their wee bright red. Also young apple twigs and leaves are favourite, and can sometimes help to remedy bunny loss of appetite. Definate NO NOs are Ivy, Yew Tree, Ragwort, to name but a few. Best of luck with your baby bun.

No it is not. Lettuce will kill the rabbit. The rabbit will get diarrhea and then die within the next 24 hours, so a rabbit cannot eat any lettuce. Iceberg lettuce is the worst, that is what makes rabbits VERY sick. Romaine lettuce is better for them, but they should still not eat it. Would you eat a food because it has just a little bit of arsenic in it? No. I highly recommend you read up on care for you rabbit, because you could kill it

Yes, they're fine, as long as they haven't been sprayed with chemicals. Wild rabbits eat them too. At this age he's experimenting so try to remove any toxic plants from your garden or fence them off with chicken wire. You can plant more things that he'd like to eat.
You can google for more info, theres loads of rabbit sites.

I don't think they are safe, but weeds I know that are safe are Dandelions, plantain, clover, chickweed and shepherds purse. But don't worry, I don't think eating them once will hurt it. I'm not sure about this info, but I know all those weeds are safe.
