His stregnth is unmatchable with punches that can send anyone into orbit. His vision makes Tiger Woods envious and his heat vision is just an added bonus. His lung capacity is outstanding and can breathe a super condensed powerful zephyr. He is invulnerable to any physical damage and he can fly higher and faster that anything known to man. His reflexes and speed are uncanny, only exceeded by the 'Scarlet Speedster': the Flash (and he's on our side!). Anyone want to critisize the last son of Krypton now? He is the perfect candidate for the title: "Earth's Greatest Hero". Anyone who says no is a complete dumbass. Period.

Well, I'm 240 lbs or so, but I don't like to think of myself as huge. Ample, if you insist.
I've been a fan of the Man of Steel since the middle '60s, or so. Not every story, every month, but hey...he was first & as far as I'm concerned, he's still number one.

For the best, kick-@$$ Superman story you should ever hope to read, check out Alan Moore's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" He covered just about everything you'd want to read in a '60s Superman story...the only things I can think of which he didn't include were Red Kryptonite & The Superman Revenge Squad.

modify) I don't agree that The Flash is faster than Superman. None of the Flashes have been known to perform interstellar travel AND get home in time for dinner.

Well, call me what you will. I have never really appreciate Superman. First of all, he is the world most boring superhero. Nothing could hurt him except a certain green rocks from outer space. His motivation to save the world is "truth, justice, and the American way". Can he get anymore vague than that? Also, it has the lamest arch-villian with Lex Luther. A corporate exec who wants Superman to join him or he'll try to kill him or at least makes his life miserable. *YAWN*

Having said that, I might check out the Superman movie. If for no other reason, for Bryan Singer and Kevin Spacey.
