I have one coworker who belches incessantly. Another who eats at her desk and chews with her mouth open. The second cowoerker also swears like a sailor and has loud personal conversations on the phone containing profanity and inappropriate subject matter. i have complained to my boss, but I sense he is too embarrassed to address the mofre personal issues - specifically the noisy eating and stinky food in the office. What should I do?

Whatever you do, don't rock the boat. We all put up with things. If you complain to the boss, he may target you as the problem, fair or not. How about suggesting a re-arranging of seats (putting yourself closest to the quiestest person)? Or you could try applying for a job in another part of the company if possible.

But the best thing to do is just stay quiet and deal with it b/c it is not something that is hurtful or abusive. It is a major annoyance, yes, but that's all. Make a joke out of it if you can. Save it for a funny story to tell your husband or friends later. They will look forward to the daily anectodes.

Trust me, if you try to adapt, it's amazing what you can learn to live with. Would you rather have cruel coworkers who try to backstab you or have parties and don't invite you? Would you rather have a boss who is out to get you instead of one who wants to keep the peace? Compare it to what some people have to deal with at work and you may feel better. :)

make up secret admirers for all of them. When they arent looking put notes at their desks or on their belongings saying that someone likes them. Then later plant another note on them saying that the "admirer" changed their mind because they dont think they would be interested in someone so gross because that person grossed them out by (whatever that person does that is gross). If they don't take the hint then I feel for you lol

When a person loses control and reacts angrily towards someone, “he tears and uproots his soul because of his anger and causes a foreign spirit to dwell within him.” (Zohar)

When you appreciate the danger of becoming angry and take steps to work through it, you will find it easier to soften your judgments with mercy.

We must disassociate ourselves from anger and frustration and realize that the person we are angry at is not our enemy — the negative entity within us is the enemy.

Instead of reacting with fury, we can instead be furious with the voice in our minds that tells us this person is bad and deserves punishment. That’s the only way we can accomplish what we came to this world to do, and this is the greatest gift of all.

I would try to tune them out. put candles or air fresheners in the office to try to cover up the stinky smells.

Well you would take the person with disgusting habits aside and confront them and ask if they would take their habits around someone else.

You my friend are OCD. You need to work out of your home where you are not bothered by anyone. Besides, what makes you so sure they like you. Maybe they're doing it on purpose so you can leave? Ever thought of that? HA-HA-HA!!!!!!!

you should talk to your coworkers and tell them how you feel...or you might as well play their same game and do something routinary that they won't like for a while to get them irritated and then they will comprenhend how you feel...
