They are good, but they all have sister companies that offer the exact same makeup at much lower prices. With the "counter" brands like Lauder, Lancome, etc. you're paying for the makeup artists' salary. With L'Oreal, Maybelline and others, you aren't.

There have been several questions about which companies are the sister companies...like L'Oreal/Lancome....search on here and you find the whole list.

Good luck!

I use a foundation called "Lucidity" by Estee Lauder...it's about $40, but it's amazing and totally worth it. It lasts a really long time, and just a little bit goes a long way covering blemishes and uneven skin tones...I would highly recommend it! : )

I went through chemo awhile back and my nurse got me hooked on clinique foundations. In the winter i use the soft finish (dry skin) and in the summer I use the barely there tinted moisturizer.

yes, try este double wear. it doesn't break your face out, and it will last all day after you apply it. be careful not to spill it on clothing or on your counter top. it is pretty tough to get off unless you treat the spill right away. p.s., always use a loose or pressed pow-der over foundation to set it. this will help make any makeup last and look better. good luck

Artistry is just as good but it is cheaper than those brands. I personally have tried the cheap stuff (like the Walgreen's brands), and can tell you that pricey er feels better.

If you want a great foundation before you buy go take a look at Philosophy's airbrush foundation and/or Bare Mineral's - you won't be sorry.
