There are different way's of playing badly,as we saw in the Portugal/Holland game. Is taking dives and falling over pretending to be hurt playing well?? I think not. If a match is played fair, which ever teams are playing, then they played well,if on the other hand they have to win ,or can only win by playing unfairly, then they are NOT the best team.If England go on to win the final, and play a fair game, then yes they will be the best!! The same goes for any of the teams.

Whoever wins the World Cup can proudly and confidently say they are the best team in the world.

You cannot win this tournament by good fortune.

Sometimes what appears to be bad play is strategy for the conditions, team and circumstance you are in.

If you beat any team at this point in the tournament you have without a doubt beaten a world class team. You can only do that in this sport by being the better team.

So in answer to your question. Yes England are going to be crowned the best team in the world.

I would love to see England win THE cup but unless they sort out the defence and get the ball in the net some more, well I don't think we will have to worry about your question, On the other hand as long as they do win by playing badly (I just hope not like the ities or frogs who need to cheat) then yes they would be the best as the other teams could nt beat them.

Yes. Football is not about passing, tricks or diving, they are all just a means to an end. The best team is the won that scores more goals than the opposition, and If England do that against everyone else then yes they are the best team in the world.

The point of football is to win, so whoever wins is best at football. Playing beautifully is fantastic if you win at the same time, but I reckon the Spanish or the Dutch or the Mexicans would willingly have swapped places with England this morning.

Having said that, I'll be amazed if England win Bigger Cup.

Your question is contrasting it self...are you that insecure about yourself?...have you watched all the games or you just like to hang around the Internet, gathering negativity... do you just hear the news from people and the US news?..Please know the facts...You have to actually watch all the games to have an opinion....England won 3 games and drew one and if you have knowledge about the game you will know why they drew...Please help yourself...

surely, they are far from being the best. it was interesting to note that they think the Ukraine / Switzerland game was the most boring.
for me and most people i have spoken too, the England/Ecuador game was the worst performance so far.
