Yes. It is stylish, easy to use and is far less prone to viruses. I can and do send documents from work (pc IBM compatible) to home and back again with no problems although I do occasionally have to tell the computer at work which program to use to open it.

I would have a Mac each and every time - no contest.

Yes, I love my Mac! (That answers you question, but I doubt it was what you were looking for.)
I have used a mac for eight years and the latest Apple computers and system software are some of the best they have ever had.
Do not believe anything about not having all the software the PCs do. True Apple has a smaller developer base, but they are some of the best designers and programmers both for software beauty and power. Mac OS X comes with its own creative suite including a photo processor, music creation tool, movie maker, and DVD construction tool free and built in. Also a productivity suite is included that includes a desktop email client, an address book, web browser and calendar that all sync together. Microsoft Office runs beautifully on a mac, same with all the Adobe suites. And if you know your way around the internet and Open Source communities you can get free and Open Source software to replace what you need. Games, currently, are the one thing that Windows actuly has more of than Macs, but with the new Intel processors more and more games are and will be on the Mac. If you try every thing and cannot find the applications or games you need you can run Windows on an Apple computer using Boot Camp ( http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ ) or Parallels Desktop ( http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/ ).
I hope you find your place in the "Cult of Mac."

Get a Mac and switch already. The sooner the better. I went from pc to mac 10 years ago, and it was much better then, even before osX.

In my ten years as a mac owner I have bought several. 1 ibook, 1 emac, old school g3 laptop, blue and white g3 tower, two g4 towers, and my new powerbook pro is on order as we speak!

With the new intel macs you can now install your PC crap if you really need it. But you will ween yourself off that as soon as you experience the OS.

I have a PC and a Mac clamshell laptop (tangerine) the battery pooped on it the other day, of course! Other than that it is a good computer. I download all my music onto it. The great thing about a Mac is that it NEVER gets viruses or crashes, like a PC does.

I miss my mac so much. It was so much more stable and a ton faster, the only problem they had was the software availability. The new ones can run windows, but it will still crash because its the Microsoft software that is flawed. The Apples cost a bit more, but you never have to pay for virus protection or repairs and it never slows down

Macs are:
- nice looking (depending on the taste)
- OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive
- no better than PCs (when talking about hardware)
- incompatible with 95% of the world (when talking about software)

One of the most stupid things about macs is the 1-button retard mouse.
