A) Spending a week in hell
B) Spending an eternity at the in-laws

Spending a week in hell is worse. Hell is worse than anything.

I would say a week in hell would be worse. In hell I would probably be spending the week with both my parents and the in-laws!

An eternity with the in-laws would be HELL! So either way I'm screwed. Ever seen the tv show Everybody Loves Raymond? My mother in law is Marie and my brother in law is Robert (very boo hooey) So bring on hell any day!!!

I actually love my mother -in-law very much, but spending a week with my family would be just like spending a week in hell!

A. Spending a week in hell would be worse. I use to be married and I really enjoyed my in laws. They would take my kids every weekend and also vacations. To bad they couldn't raise a son.

I would have to say "B" spending an eternity with the in-laws. Both are already deceased but they were great in-laws.

Spending a week in hell. It is far more terrible, than anything we can endure on earth.
If the situation at the in-laws is intolerable, the fault usually lies with the husband, who allows his parents to be disrespectful to his wife. If they are treating her in a bad way, he should stand up to them and tell them to back off. If he can't or won't do that, then he doesn't love his wife...
