I know its crazy, years ago you actually was famous because you were a great singer or actor or because you accomplished somthing in your life, but these days, you go on a relality show for a couple of weeks and then become famous for sitting around all day doing nothing - what has the world come to

The obsession isn't with ordinary people.If I'm not mistaken,the the word ordinary has more or less the same meaning as normal or typical.Please don't tell me the "celebs" such as those the UK media and public are obsessed with are normal or typical British citizens or I'm going to end it all now..

Yes. Ex-Big Brother housemates being a particular axe to grind. I'm just consoled by the fact that the truly talentless ones usually open their opinionated mouths and vent the contents of their vacuous minds once too often, and are either shown up for what they really are by themselves or torn to pieces by the paparazzi and subsequently disappear from view.
Oddly I've grown rather fond of Jade Goodie though. She is truly thick, but knows it and laughs at herself. Everyone likes an underdog, and she normally raises a laugh.

I've always hated it. They only think of themselves and if they help out others, then you know it's all about them and free publicity in the end. It's sad especially Angelina and her whole i'm a savior to the 3rd world countries act.

i would not call them celebrities, "attention seekers" more like, also the more known celebs, Anne Daimond, Vanessa Feltz, Victoria Beckham & Co, going to the opening Premiere of a box of teabags, if it meant getting their bake "face" photographed, oh look at me "pose", wouldn't give them house room.

"Ordinary People" duh, all famous people started out "Ordinary" at one time in their lives. If you became famous tomorrow were you not ordinary at one time ? We as a society make ordinary people famous for a variety of reasons, it's called freedom of choice. Be glad you have the ability to make your own choices !!
