I went through this last year and the sad thing is that we were really close, and I sincerely mean that too, we have know eachother since the beginning of High School and I did everything I could for her when she needed me but when it came down to it ....she couldn't even talk decently about me behind my back and she brought my child into it which I drew the line there....I tried to set things straight with her but after that incident I stopped talking to her altogether and actually I am a LOT better emotionally and I'm not as stressed as I was before.....so sometimes it can really pay off....I have come to realize that in the end, all you have to rely on is yourself and sometimes you have to make a tough choice or two in the process but it's sooo well worth it!! Hang around people that bring you up and not down!! Hope this helps and Good Luck!!

Ignore her backstabbing a$#, don't answer or return her phone calls or emails, don't answer your doorbell.
If she has been backstabbing you, she'll get the message, she'll know that you are onto her and her ways, no further explanation to her will be needed; she will know shes busted!
Maybe she will think about her actions next time before she does this to another friend!

a friend is not a friend anyways if they are backstabbing you. No one needs someone like that in their life. Become less and less available for your best friend..eventually she'll get the point.
good luck to you! :o)

Don't avoid her/him, or try to keep away from her/him. That will make the problem even more worst. If you want to get the bricks off your back. Then tell her/him how hurt she/he made you feel. How low the remarks she/he made were.
Say that a friend, would never turn his/her on another friend. Don't go out and start rumors on him/her. Thats will make him/her be even nastier. Take it simple, be calm, and plainly state you don't wanna be friends anymore.
If he/her gets mad over it, leave them standing where they are . at.

If this was the first time, you should tell him/her that you didn't appreciate whatever they did, but friends give second chances. If repeated, tell them straight out that your friendship can't exist while one person is double-crossing the other. That's what I think!

Tell her she's a backstabber and you never want to see her again. Just keep it honest and simple, you don't have to overthink it like I did once.
