You are refering to the stationary side of a slider window. There should be a vinyl moulding around the glazing on the interior side of the window. The corners may be mitred, but more likely are butt jointed. They are clipped into the main window frame by working a wedge shaped protrusion into a channel of the mainframe. You should be able to tell of this moulding is a seperate piece because of the hairline crack in the cormer of the joint. Put some pressure on the moulding with your fingers and starting at one end, try to pry it out with a flat screwdriver or putty knife. Once you get it started, the rest of the first piece, and the other three will come out easily.

Having removed them, you will know how reinstall them.

Good luck with your repair.
