Nothing at all--a lot of people seem to think that it's everyone else's responsibility to protect them and their kids from what they should be doing themselves. I have a whole family of teachers--their biggest complaint is that parents drop off their kids at school, and some actually tell them, "OK, he's your problem now." If THEY can't instill values into their own kids, why should they expect others to?

Broadcast TV uses public airwaves and must conform to societal standards. The public has the right to dictate what and when programming can be broadcasted. Cable/satellite TV is a paid service with less gov't control. Parental controls can be placed on analog/digital signals, but not on radio waves.

I feel i have the right to control the public airways along with all the other citizens who own equal shares. Watch what you want on cable. We together OWN the airways not the broadcasters, its our joint property.

Only if it's my kids or kids in my house. Otherwise, no one the right to decide what others can watch.

i think people should watch what they want to watch and how they want to watch it, the FCC should not be involved in the entertainment business
