Its still unanswered what the smoke is, I still am "lost", and I have watched it from the beginning.

That is a signal from Sayid to tell the others that he is in place on the other side of the island. Jack knows that Michael is leading himself, Sawyer, Kate and Hurley into a trap for the others, so he had Sayid circle around to the other side of the island on Desmond's boat for back up.

my little brother has watched the entire lost thing rite to the end of it all via internet and he keeps tellin me stuff. i put a stop to it so i hav kept ma sanity. he has turned into a complete nob ever since he started watchin it, so i strongly urge u to just be patient, all will be revealed. i have just watched it every tuesday n think its worth it. gutted a bit tho coz i thot there was a dinosaur. i hav seen up to the episode when shanon meets michelle rodriguezes character. good stuff

That show is so stupid, but I am so hooked on it. I think the black smoke represents evil because when Mr. Echo stood up to it, it backed away. He is suppose to be priest or something.

Eko though isn't all that good he killed man and was drug runner and what not he might have repented but still

all i can remember is that they found other hatches and it seems that they were at one piont and time that they were being watched
