Do you think that celebrities are being cheated of better and longer careers because of all the tabloids? Do you think that celebrities would have longer lasting and more successful careers if there weren't tabloids?

Probably but they know that when getting in the business! They're so rich and get so much freebies I don't feel the least bit bad for them. My brother work s for a tabloid so I can't exactly blame them.

No. Tabloids have been around for many many years and there are still people that have careers that last a lifetime. The problem is that celebrities kill their own careers by doing what the tabloids want them to do. If Lindsey Lohan wasn't partying all the time, would the tabloids have anything to write on? If celebrities weren't cheating on each other would there be something to read? Of course not. The tabloids write it because most of the time it is true.

In my opinion, the tabloids don't seem to really affect celebrities' careers. The celebrities are usually pretty good at ruining their own careers and lives, the tabloids are just the hungry ravens there to scoop it up and shine a spotlight on it. All of us, famous and not, have done stupid things, said stupid things, been seen doing stupid things and made some seriously poor choices, the difference lies (in the cosmic scheme of things) in that no one really cares what stupid things I've done. Our celebrities are royalty, we want to know everything about them, good, bad and ugly. The tabloids however are usually just in it for the bad and ugly parts. I like hearing about the good things celebs do as well as share in their embarrassment and shame when I can relate to a dumb move they've done albeit mine's not on their scale. So, in conclusion, no, I don't think the tabloids hurt anyone's careers, they do that for and to themselves.

Tabloids keep their careers going on for years. I almost think they send in stories when they have a new movie coming out. Anything to keep their face out there.

All I have to say is, they make way too much money and get way too much publicity. I don't think the tabloids shorten their careers. I think the tabloids are a way for them to get more publicity and make them more famous.
