prostitutes are only for people who don't want commitments...
maybe you're not thinking of commitment yet because you are not ready. it depends on the person's personality. there are people who never got married because they just don't want to. they're happy the way they are which is not bad.
some people want a family some day. i grew up in a big family and going to gatherings was something that i looked forward to. also people are having problems with their marriage because they don't choose their partners wisely. some people are driven to get married because their partner is good looking but capable of nothing and that drives the marriage apart. for a person who wants to get married someday, he/she has to find someone who shares the same interests as him/her, the same morals, and that helps a lot.

you don't pay for sex on a date, you might pay for a meal or pay to go to the movies but you don't pay for sex, and you aren't guaranteed to "get laid" either
and HOPEFULLY if you get married it will be for love not just lust
and finaly... prositutes don't usualy give you any extras they just give you sex
