A woman ovulates about 2 weeks (usually 12-16 days) before her *next* period. So, you are *probably* going to ovulate between days 16 and 20 of any cycle. You are fertile up to 3-5 days before ovulation. So the likelihood is that your most fertile day will be somewhere between 12 and 16 July.

But all of these are only *averages*. An average is, by definition, usually *wrong*. For instance, if you assume that *every* woman you meet will be 5'4" tall because that's average, you will be incorrect *most* of the time.

Instead of looking at averages, it helps to look at how *your* body works. Please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler for detailed information on how to chart your fertility signs. It will be much more useful than trying to guess based on *other* women.

A *really* hot bath could lower fertility, but since it takes up to 2 or 2 1/2 months for each sperm to be produced, it probably won't hurt the ones that are ready in a couple of weeks. If he takes a bath, encourage him to make it *warm* and not hot. But the same would be true of a shower.

I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Here are some things you can do....1-2 weeks before your period is when your body is ovulating and that is the time that you wanna try...During this point in time don't do anything for about 2-3 days so you are both relaxed. If your husband can stand it put some under garments in the freezer for a day wear them the day that you plan on trying because the colder that the mans testicles are the better chance you have...Also check with the doctor to see if both of you are fertile. If so then try the things I have just listed trust me it works I have a 6 month old now.....If you don't know when you are ovulating then go to the local drug store like WAL-MART or somewhere like that they have an ovulation test kit that will tell you when you are. And neither one of you wear tight clothing........

Every woman is different...Thumbelina is wrong about when you are fertile. A women is only fertile for a very short time and you only have one day to make it work. You could ovulate around July 15th. But the best way to tell is to try an ovulation kit. Those are accurate and very helpful.
Best of luck to you!!

I don't know why you are in such a hurry, it will happen, assuming there are no medical problems. Just don't stress about it so much, people usually end up pregnant when they least expect it. Stress can make both of you less fertile, because your body senses the stress and definitely does not want to become pregnant!! Think about it that way. Relax and enjoy making love, and eventually you will have your precious gift!!

Usually the most fertile time is right before, during and direclty after a period. You husband should be okay even though he took a bath.
