YES! Without French New Wave, cinema today would not exist. Godard's "Breathless" revolutionized the world of editing, giving free-reign to films like "Easy Rider" and "Bonnie and Clyde." Truffaut's "400 Blows" redefined coming-of-age films. "Amélie" is breathtaking with it's cinematography, and Renoir's "Grande Illusion," a prelude to "The Great Escape."
C'mon, without French cinema, there wouldn't BE any cinema!

Yes,I don't see a lot of french movies,but some ones are good.

French movies are one of a kind in the new cinema concept. But they have a couple of good Directors and a must see movies like Truffaut's Le Dernier métro and Luc Besson's The Big Blue and La Femme Nikita.

yes. my favorite is Amile with audry tatu (she's actually in the davinchi code too...I cant wait to see it ...it will be interesting to see her in a movie where she is speaking english or at least i assume she will be...i've not seen her speaking any other language than french before...Shes just an amazing actress although I have to say I didnt like her in Dirty pretty things...but it wasnt her fault...the movie in general made me sick.) so you should really see Amilee if you like french films and you havent already.

Everything french is just crap, the place the cuisine. The place is crap. The ppl all have grease ball heads.

Ive only seen two and loved them both, They were French kiss, and I dunno the name of the other one but in English the name means the lamb... They were both really good.
