Aren't we ? I mean, the price of everthing has gone up ....

Oh heck no! Our economy is doing better than it ever did under Clinton, Bush1, or Reagan. Unemployment is low, housing is up...darlin, the economy is cruising right on along. Gas prices are up and it causes some consumer goods to rise, that's all.

Ummmm... I think maybe you need to learn the definition of a recession. A recession is a contraction of the economy- ie it gets smaller. Generally, if there is too much inflation (prices going up) then the federal reserve will raise interest rates which they then generally do too much of, and then we go into a recession. A recession stops inflation, and prices go down. So- your question answers itself. If we were in a recession prices would generally not be rising. Hold your hat though- a recession could be just over the horizon. Hope this helps- SA

the place i work is a supplier service company for the automotive industry. we process 10 of 1000's of the same parts every week. so how can anyone say the economy is bad
