rite now, brazil, france, portugal, england, germany, argentina, italy and ukraine are in the next round. And if u want 2 noe hu's gonna win, its all about brazil. they're the greatest soccer team . they have ronaldo hu has 15 world cup goals(all time record) and the amazing ronaldinho

There are 32 teams from 32 countries that are initially entered in the World Cup. The teams are divided into 8 groups (A, B, C, etc.), and the teams in each group plays the other teams in their group (i.e., group A has 4 teams and the 1st team plays teams two, three, and four). Each win from a match between a groups team results in a points system gain of three points, where a draw results in a one point gain, and no points are gained from a loss. The offical FIFA World Cup website states the rankings of teams in each group by this method: 5. The ranking of each team in each group will be determined as follows:
a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
b) goal difference in all group matches;
c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.
If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their rankings will be determined as follows:
d) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned;
e) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned;
f) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams concerned;
g) drawing of lots by the Organising Committee for the FIFA World Cupâ¢.
6. The two teams coming first and second in each group qualify for the second round.
Then the top two teams from each group advance to semifinals, and then 8 teams advance to quarterfinals, and so on until two teams play in the final match on the last day of scheduled play. The lower two teams from each group are eliminated before semifinals start. Based on performance, the team that will probably win it is Brazil with all of its excellent players. Argentina is also a strong contender for the World Cup title.

Why do people rate Portugal so highly?.Cheating and diving can only get you so far.And in that case it's not very much.What have they ever won.Yes one Champions league and that was down to a good coach.And he's left them for better things.Just like scolari.He's moving on to a team that will win him something.
