Generally 14 yrs old is a trustworthy age and if you have followed a babysitting course you may be more qualified and able to care or watch over your siblings!

Actually, here in the US, I believe the legal age to be left alone if short periods (like all day or overnight) is 12 years old.

There is not a real age to be left alone, it depends on maturity. Also make sure they know about strangers, what to do if and emergency happens, etc...

Also check out your local laws...tho maturity is most important, most places have legal ages for leaving a child alone.
