This is a very difficult situation. April 2005, my fatehr suffered from a stroke and was so close to dying. So believe me I see where you are coming from. My father was in hosipital for more than half of a year. What you need to do is surround yourself with friends and or boyfriend that care about you. Do fun and enjoyable things that you did before. But its okay to have a moment each day/ week/ month/ year where you just have to sit down and cry, but right after be around a loved one.

The best way I can think of to cope with a parents death is to give their life meaning by being happy and living your life to the fullest. Remember the good things about your dad, keep his pictures all over your home and don't forget you can still "talk to him" he just can't answer in the same way he use to. You cope by being happy and having a good life..... (((BIG HUG)))
