Sounds to me like you don't really love him.
Maybe that's too harsh. Let me say this...Love is patient, love is kind, it doesn't keep records, it is not quick to anger.
If you love him, you will wait, if you love yourself and your feelings more, you wont.
It's blunt but it's the truth.
Your bf is doing something noble, just, and brave fighting to protect you, me, and everyone back home (regardless of what others may tell you or think).

yes,,, yes,,,yes,,, you gotta wait for him,,,,, what is one year when you may have the rest of your life with him.If he dies(God forbidding) he knew that someone was loving him. You will be the last person he sees. If he gets hurt....he'll have you to love still, You say you love him....those things should be the same as wedding vows....sickness and in health...till death do you part. So many guys here could also die or get injured. You knew he was in the military before he left... thats just part of the game baby....I am glad we all don't think that way....what would they be fighting for?

Yes it is worth it. Your boyfriend decided to make the ultimate sacrifice and to put his life on the line for others to have a chance at living in a democratic society. Canadian troops are there too, and our Men and Women (Capt Nicola Goddard, the first female Canadian Soldier to die in combat was recently laid to rest) are also making the ultimate sacrifice. By the way, our soldiers are all volunteers. He needs you to be their for him OK. Pray for him and hopefully he will get through this unharmed and you will both be better people for it.

You can't miss him very much if you already want to find someone new. Not the kind of girl to be dating a soldier at all

In my opinion women must take it on to bring an end to war.
Because on both sides it is the women who finally have to live with the destruction of war.

well, if u love him enough, you will hang on for him...dont worry, he should be ok if he takes care of himself, and it would be rather cruel to ditch him while he is away....and like i sed b4, if u care abt him enuf, u will wait forever for him :)
