The best way I have found is using a pressure washer.

Use wasp spray, it sprays a jet stream a long ways, so you can stand back to spray them. In the future keep an eye out for their activity, and nip it in the bud before they get a chance to build their little mud nests.

They are harmless critters. If you must get rid of them simply knock their mud houses off the house. Use a hammer or long stick. But you really should leave them alone. They don't sting, but they do kill spiders.

First they don't sting so you don't have to worry about that.

Just wash their nests apart with a regular garden hose. They are made of mud and easily wash away.
