It's not the song you play but how you play the songs. Pick your favourite song and arrange it for the two of you. Don't try to make it sound like the original because you won't be able to. Make the songs your own and play your music your way.

depending on what you like, something cool like Beatles - I'm only sleeping, blackbird, here there and everywhere , Dylan- tangled up in blue, David Allen Coe- Jodie, mona lisa, Extreme- whole hearted, America- sandman, sister golden hair, anything Jim Croce....
so many to choose from Springsteen too. (the early stuff)

I think if you did it properly you could pull off a decent version of Suite Judy Blue Eyes...old Crosby Stills Nash and Young.
