the answer is no,that test ( hair sample ) can tell them what cough syrup your mother gave you when you where 2.and i mean the date and time,it is a very accurate test and can not be fooled...( relitive in the C.I.A trust me on this...)

You can fail. If you still have the hair that was in your folicles at the time that the pot was leaving your body(about 2 weeks after smoking) then you will fail. If you have alot of hair, get a really short haircut.
If hair grows at about .41 inches a month, times 3 that's about 1.25 inches of hair at the longest point. Get a crew cut. 1.25 inches is long for the top of a crew cut. It will grow back out and you will get your job.

From what I understand of hair tests, it is possible it will show up, it just depends on how much you tried of it. It will also show about how long ago it was.

I'm not saying I know for sure, but if you only did it once. I don't think it would show up.
I've been on steroids and pain medication for 6 months, and it didnt show up. But then again, I don;t abuse it either.

There are shampoos that you can get to strip your hair... you could probably find online.
