B) having and itch and not being able to scratch.
When girls wear thongs, small wedgies are a part of life, so if for some reason you get a big one, you'll be able to stand the fact until you can pick it out later.

Having an itch and can't scratch. You can tolerate a wedgy for a while.

Having an itch and not being able to scratch it.
Because with the wedgie, at least you'd have somebody to blame for it!
And you would have the sympathy of all your peers, as well.
Well.....no, scratch that last bit. They'd be laughing at you, and more than likely it was one of them that gave you the wedgie in the first place! Those bastards!

An itch, because at least with a wedgie I could sit down and just try to avoid it.

B) The itch is far worse. Eventually your body can adjust to a wedgy, but have you ever known an itch to just go away? It's like torture.

An Itch, there is nothing worse than having an itch you cannot scratch. It can drive you out of your mind.
