I read she wasn't asked back because of possible strife between her and Rosie O'Donnell.

Yes she was fired. I watched Showbiz Tonight last night and they said that yes she was fired but didn't want it to seem like she was blaming them so she said she just wanted to quit. I think it was b/c of her diva-like behavior and she thinks she's the first person in the world to ever get married and have a job and lose weight and every single thing else.

according to some articles I've read she was told months ago her contract would not be renewed, so she says she felt like she was being fired, the network said it was her choice (even tho they confessed to the contract thing) and had an agreement with her to wait until the end of this week to announce it, but she jumped the gun so today (Wed) they told her not to bother to come back...anyway I say she was fired, reasons? there are soo many!

Well I heard she was mad at Rosie for stating that she got her operation for the weight loss. Star had said she lossed it with hard work. Like exercise and eating right. So when Rosie come in there in July Star better be gone. (:>

sounds like she wanted to quit because of Rosie coming on board. saying she was fired makes it seem like the public would feel sorry for her.
