It depends on who you are reporting, to whom your are reporting, and why your are reporting.

i'll be sure i dont answer any questions from you ;)..it gives the reported a violation,in most cases its unwarranted though..i can see if its for a good reason,but just randomly reporting people for answers is just wrong,if one cant speak their minds than this forum is useless.

Ussually their question or answer gets pulled off the site, and if repetitive or offensive enough they get suspended, baned, etc.
