Yes, if the following things can be done:

1 - Marijuana can be proven not to be addictive when used in low doses.
2 - Marijuana is restricted to 18+ or 21+
3 - Marijuana can be proven not to have health effects i.e. cancerous like tobacco.
4 - Legal Marijuana is grown inside the states on non-subsidized farms
5 - Marijuana sales are taxed heavilly

I know some will say that tobacco and alcohol doesn't follow some of these guidelines. As a new legalized substance, I think it should start out with an ideal set of rules.

Of course the gov should legalize marijuana, Alcohol and cigarettes are legal and there are just many people who indulge in using Marijuana as those who drink and smoke, there are also medical benefits to using it such as relief from certain cancer and glaucoma . For some people it helps them to reduce stress and for artists it helps to expand the imagination. I dont believe that it is any more dangerous for those who use it as cigarettes and alcohol. Of course as with cigarettes and alcohol there should be age limits and guidelines ,but I say YES LEGALIZE IT !
