Lol I love the way you put this because I have asked a similar question but in a less creative way by far!

Here's what I HAVE to have: They have to actually care about the people and compromising to meet each of their needs. I don't want someone in office who, since he's this religion or this race or this affiliation to pretty much go totally against anything that has to do with another religion, race, affiliation etc. For instance, if a candidate is Christian, I don't want him to ban gay marriage just because it's not in his belief. Others may find it perfectly fine and personally, if it doesn't affect others that aren't in that kind of taste, I don't see anything wrong with it either. HE doesn't have to agree to it and neither does anyone else who doesn't like it, but you could still give the others their rights. Like I said, as long as it won't harm anyone else, why should we withold rights?

Something I CANNOT stand: A candidate who focuses on bashing the other candidate. If I was running for office, sure I would want the public to know if the other one was running a dirty campaign or if he had secret ambitions. But as an honest candidate, I would just let them know that hey, this is what I can do, and I will try everything in my power to do anything else . . but if you think this other guy suits your needs better, I just want the people to be represented fairly. I could not have a candidate who is so selfish that all he does is talk himself up and put the other guy down. If he's going to do that to the other candidate, what do you think he's going to do for the people but again be selfish and self-centered, putting down what the people disagree on him with?

Those are my major ups and downs!

What MUST you have in a political candidate.

A God fearing Christian man that has the love of Christ foremost in his thoughts and deeds. All the Fruits of the Spirit:love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, Faith, meekness(humbleness) and temperance.

What can you not stand in a political candidate?

A man that has the love of Money and Power as formost in his thoughts and deeds. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murder, drunkenness, revellings, and such like.

Must Have: Honesty, intelligence, ethics, and not willing to cater to big businesses and illegals. Someone who is willing to work for the people s/he represents
Must NOT have: Lawyer attitude of finding loopholes, brown nosing *** with no back bone, criminal record, hiding past, putting down other candidates, supporting illegals.
I don't need to agree with them on every issue, but I expect them to be forthright and say how they reached a conclusion without some insipid excuse like, "God says it's wrong in the Bible." I want someone I can admire and respect...I don't think there's anyone in office who is like that these days.
