You could potentially get your period from age 5-20+. The higher your body fat the earlier you will probably start your period. Most girls tend to start around those early teen years 12-14ish. I did know someone who started when she was 5 and she was an extremely overweight person. I can't fathom what that must have been like for her. On the other end, girls who are really skinny like gymnists, tend to start later some as late as 20+ years old. So really there is no given age but like I said most girls get it around those puberty years of early teenhood.
According to an article I just found, the earliest recorded menstruation was at age 3 and the girl got pregnant at age 5...in Peru.

Regular time? You mean what age does a young girl first menstruate? If so, varies based on puberty -- around 11-13 is probably normal but so is earlier and later.
If you mean how often, then around every 25-27 days. You count days starting with the first day of your period, not the last. And most periods last around 5 days. But again, this varies with each individual. And in the beginning years, you are not always regular.

Babemeg, There is no regular time, You should be talking to your Mother, or other females in your family. But the most helpful
would be your Dr. or a nurse in the Dr's office. you should beable
to get written materials that will have information to help you with all kinds of questions. Good Luck

I think the norm is anywhere betwenn 10-14.
Hope this helps.

lol interesting Question. since I don't know the specifics of this question, I'll say this: If you mean what age, usually between 10 and 14 but it really depends on body fat, once a girl reaches 20% Body fat she'll start. It's natures way of making sure one's nutrition is good enough to carry a baby. ( which explains why skinny girls tend not to get a period often and why heavey girls periods arn't always on track.) now if your asking how often, its normally 28 days from the start of your last period ( but can range once again depending on body fat, or age) and can range from 3-7 days.

It varies very greatly. It's ussually between 12-16, but can also be later. In recent years the age has gone down somewhat, so it can be as early as 11, or sometimes less.

It depends on the girl, my mother started hers when she was 10, but I was 15 when I started. My doctor also said if your really physically active like in sports your likely to start in your teens around 14 -17.

It all depends on the girl. I know people that have started very young around 10-11 and I myself never started mine until I was around 16. It all depends on your system.

if your talking about monthly..every 28 days is considered a normal cycle.
if your talking about what age you should have your first period, anywhere from age 11 to about age 13.
my daughter is getting close to this age and ive done some research on the matter.
