I'm glad you said you wouldn't be offended.
When my son was little, I didn't want him to learn swear words. I can be a bit volatile, and have been known to let slip the odd s-h-i-t and other naughties.
So I decided to train myself not to swear....but I couldn't stop it altogether.....so I used to say "Oh BASINGSTOKE!!!!"
It worked like a charm. He is 18 now and he has still been known to say it!!!
I'm sure your home town is a very nice place. You can have a go at me if you like. I live in South East London (very slummy)

Basingstoke is a nice place to live if you want to be within striking distance of the South coast and also the city. Both are about an hour away by train or car. It's an ok place. Good train service from London to the Southwest passes through and good buses too. Nice countryside all around. Rolling hills, woods, great wildlife.

And Hampshire is very posh darling, there was a girl in my class in law school that lived there, man, that girl could make you feel like sh*t with her accent she was so damn posh!

ive been to basingstoke. I had a job interview at Audleys Wood hotel. it's ok there, expensive though.
