Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a way of helping people to cope with stress and emotional problems. It helps us to look at the connections between how we think, how we feel and how we behave. It particularly concentrates on ideas that are unrealistic. These often undermine our self-confidence and make us feel depressed or anxious. Looking at these unrealistic ideas can help us work out different ways of thinking and behaving that in turn will help us cope better. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy looks at the “here and now” issues rather than focusing on things from the past. It helps people to learn new methods of coping and problem-solving, which they can use for the rest of their lives.

well for me when i was a freshman in high school and my anxiety went full blown. i couldn't eat cuz i was so nervous i would throw up and lost massive ammounts of weight for me supper fast. i sought help asap. what it is is that you have to figure out what triggers it. what i do is if for example i'm getting anxiety over a huge paper i have to write or something i just go through it in my mind. ok if the paper sucks and i get a d for the grade...how will that affect my course grade? so then i say like ok then i will have like a c in the class. to make the anxiety go away i say well then thats it. i got a c and i have to live with it. you just have to reason with yourself and accept your conclusion. trust me i have been basically anxiety free for 5 years now and am much happier. also taking deep breaths. do yoga cuz you will learn how to calm yourself down. and the best way to deal with it is to put it to the back of your mind till you have time to face it. good luck. if this doesn't help seek professional help.

I take deep breaths, try to think of myself sitting in a lounge chair beside the ocean.
My doctor gave me some Xanax recently after my dad died and the whole family bailed out and left me the bill. I try not to take it because I am afraid of becoming addicted.
I always try to think of the positive. I loved my dad and he would understand this whole mess. The least I can do is bury him. He has given me so much. To He** with them.

Breathe slowly and deeply, analyze and resolve, or sleep.
