Yahoo is great, but we all know a lot of people using a bunch of other messengers. So if you work under windows you could use Trillian to have everything in just one messenger (MSN,Yahoo, ICQ). If you work under GNU Linux or any UN*X you can have a look at Gaim.
Have Fun.

Yahoo. However I have to use msn since many people abroad use it (it seems they don't knbow about yahoo messenger). Yahoo has been my favorite for a looong time. Besides, it is not another Microsoft software... if you know what I mean.

Msn. On yahoo, the in uncomplicated phrases message I look to get is, "click this hyperlink to work out me bare!" Aol is very well, besides the undeniable fact that the newest version makes my laptop freeze. Msn works completely for me.

Yahoo, but I use Trillian to do it. I really don't like most IM clients out there.

Skype is quite good. It is quick, easy to use, and allows you to call to traditional landlines or mobiles (at really cheap rates).
