Jason and Need to Know, you have x amount of letters to get your question across. So, if you can't figure inground should be in-ground, or that I chopped off any wording that wasn't needed, and in doing so, created a statement, you need to first be able to have the ability to answer the question, like my other two responses, before you waste your time.

In english that would be a statement not a question so next time lose the "?". You need to drain the pool and fix it.. what else did you expect...? and how can you see the vinyl torn if it is below ground anyway...?

if you drain your pool to try to repair this, do so VERY slowly! Otherwise you run the risk of causing a much bigger tear. Also, depending on how the tear got there, you may not be able to repair this liner & may have to get another one. Check to make certain the bead and coping are not broken around the torn area.

Check with your homeowners insurance if this was an accident and see if your policy will cover repair/replacement.

Go back to the installers of the liner & ask them what to do to fix this or have them send someone out to look at repairing/replacing it.

Is there a warranty on the liner? if so, it would probably be pro-rated since you have had it for 4 years already.

Good luck!

If it's torn, I think you're out of luck. If the bead just came out, you can press it back in by pouring boiling water on the vinyl and pressing it back in. The hot water allows the vinyl to stretch. Its easiest to be in the pool when you do this.
