That depends on how he got hurt and why was he jumping your fence. I feel what's on the other side of someones fence is very person and is off limits to wondering eyes. It's said that the first answer most people have for a problem is to sue. I'm sure glad I have great neighbors. Good luck hun.

Why was he jumping over your fence in the first place? That's trespassing. I don't think you can sue someone if you get hurt trespassing, but it depends on you State laws. No, I do not think it was your fault. He is the idiot who jumped the fence. You really should contact a lawyer just to be safe.

1 ) Were u in the dogs yard hopping over their fence to get away from them? or 2 ) were the dogs loose running the streets and u went over a fence for protection? If u answered yes to #1 then no i can't sue or make complaint. stay out of their yard. u shouldn't have been hopping a fence on private property sign or no sign u were trespassing. Dont antagonize those dogs either they do not forget, i know from experience. Hmmm the dogs must have been distracted they didn't get u. Do that in my fence mine would have watched u and the minute u touched the ground inside my 2 would have plastered u 2 the fence until i backed them off. If u answered yes to #2 then u should report it. No dogs big or small should be running loose off its own property without a leash. Have respect for other peoples property. Don't cross their yard unless u ask the owners permission. Don't even consider hopping or going in a fence to cut through that's a definite NO! Next time u may not make it to the fence.

Was he jumping in or out? There is a certain degree of expetation that any structure, fence, wall, deck, etc. is safe when used for it's intended purpose. The intended purpose of a fence is to keep something in or something out, or both. The neighbor would have to prove neglegence on your part to win such a case.
There are obvioulsy more details so it is hard to answer.

i wouldnt think so. how long has your fense been there?
why would they jump the fence?
how high is the fence?
i wouldnt worry. just take pictures of the fence to show how tall and long it is. and get other neighbors to write down how long the fence has been there.
how hurt is the neighbor?
i wouldnt think they could sue over their own stupidity.

No way! why the heck would they try to jump your fence in the first place? if it were because your dog was chasing them or something, then yea, it would be your fault.
