She is a gymnast from Romania that in 1976 scored the first perfect 10 in gymnastics and then went on to score a few more. She was awesome. I remember watching her in the 1976 Olympics. She is now married to fellow gymnast Bart Connor. I think they just had a baby. She should be around 40 years old now.

yup - she is Romanian and a gymnast, she was the first ever to get a perfect 10 in the Olympics and the monitor only dysplayed 3 digits so when they put 10.00 it came up as 1.00,,,i think she got 6 or 7 perfect 10's that yr...and theres a lot more info on the internet

She's a famous gimnast, a native Romanian. She was forced to leave her country during the communist regime there, and is currently living in the US. She was considered one of the most talented gimnasts ever and was the first in history to score a perfect 10 in Montreal, 1977.
She recently gave birth to her first child, even if in her 40s.
