Meh, its a bog standard 'rebel' quote. Its basically saying do anything to be different, even if it goes against every social norm. Bid sad really ,no offence. Its always been an idea that the Insane are actually the only 'real' people here, who have escaped 'the metaphysical boundaries of our capitalist world'..basically, its aload of tosh.

Those considered insane have found a non-conforming identity, yet it is detrimental to their health as it can be to others, so in a way, it wouldn't be an ideal object to pursue in life.
Try not to think of individuality as an escape, but simply finding a place WITHIN the majority-- that way, a social contract of harmony is the only conformist aspect. Choosing defined sides usually leads to conflict...

not really you need to be yourself before you can fit in any where so try to be an individual before getting in the in crowd
