I want to add I DO NOT let the 6 yr old stay at hubby's parents.I keep him away from them. But sometime maybe 1 or 2 times a month my husband will drop kids off to do a job but thats if Im at work. They treat the 10 yr old like gold he has 3 ply station ect...Step son treat him mean. 6yr old dosent have a father either but my husband. He calls me Mom but I tell him all about his angel Momma.I can only forsee a divorce bc Him and His family will never love the lil one like I do.

YOU SHOULD PRAY THAT THEIR HEARTS BE SOFTENED TO THE LITTLE ONE OR THAT GOD GIVES YOU THE STRENGTH TO LEAVE. THE BIBLE SAYS "AND THIS I SAY IN CONFIDENCE WHICH WE HAVE IN HIM: THAT IF WE ASK ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE LISTENS TO AND HEARS US. AND IF WE KNOW THAT HE LISTENS TO US IN WHATEVER WE ASK, WE ALSO KNOW THAT WE HAVE THE REQUESTS MADE OF HIM" 1 JOHN 5: 14-15........ I ALSO RECOMMEND ROMANS 5: 1-5 (THIS HAS BROUGHT ME THROUGH MANY TOUGH TIMES) ........... I WILL PRAY FOR YOU ALSO AND I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT FOR THE BEST OF YOU.

Your grandson is family like the others. They have no rights in anyway to talk hateful to him. You need to do something about it very soon. If not, then he will grow up thinking thats how he should treat others.
Talk to him, and have him to tell your his feelings. He don't need to bottle it up at the age he is. Tell him, he is love and always have you to come too. If there noone else for him.
Your husband and his son are nothing about bullys. Your husband wants to lean on deaf ears, cause he is to chicken to tell his father what he thinks.
They will always get what coming to them, for what they do onto other ppl.

Think about the six year old who will grow up feeling worthless his entire life because of these people. It isn't worth staying in this marriage if it will forever change the way the 6 year old perceives himself.

If someone made a comment like that about my grandchild, I would go ballistic and go off on that person and I don't care who they are. I would take my baby and leave and everyone else can kiss my ***. No way would I stay with these other idiots.

It's funny how WE ( meaning me included) as people can ignore all the signs that given to us. Pray about it and seek some counseling with husband first. Then if that doesn't work ....holla'! C U later.

Take that child and leave. His wellbeing should be MORE important to you than anything in this world. Your father-in-law threatened that child's life. How could you NOT do something about that? What makes me sad is that you have not done anything to stop it.
