It says that they are safe for fuel filters, but I don't really consider that the same thing.

If it's an aftermarket accessory promising to increase your fuel mileage, put it BACK on the shelf, and slowly back away. If you're trying to squeeze more mileage out of your fuel, the first thing you need to 'fix' on the car is your right foot. It's too heavy, and thus causes too much downward pressure on the accelerator when you're driving, which then causes you to use too much fuel. LOL Other things you can fix on the car are: Tire pressure, air and fuel filters, cleaning and/or replacing the spark plugs, having your alignment checked, also have your brakes checked to find out if they're dragging, transmission and engine oil changes, those kinds of things will save you money AND fuel down the road.
