I have a big problem with a family of moles that is destroying my front lawn.. anyone tried anything that REALLY works to get rid of them? I thought about the Caddyshack method but plastic explosives leave such large craters!!

We have the same problem. Have you tried Grub-Ex? If you kill all the grubs, the moles won't have anything to eat. We have laid down Grub Ex and also a Mole Repellant (pellet type).
You can also try to poison them if you do NOT have pets, some people use a "sonar" emitting noise things in the ground (I'm not sure they work).
Also, we have cats that hunt the moles too - so my advice would be - Grub Ex with Repellant and buy a cat ;)

Spray your lawn with Diazanon or use Diazanon pellets if you don't have pets which will get rid of the grubs that the moles are eating.

Those dang Golffers, I saw a guy by something it gave off some sort of wave and keeps them away. It is availible at Lowes or home depot

Go to a home improvement or garden center and they have a product made especially for moles.
