It is the color of what ever you have been wearing. Some folks that don't take baths or showers too often can almost knit a new sweater with all that lint.

Belly button lint is a gray color and is called Gnrr. It is akin to toe-jam. Both are pretty gross and not discussed in polite company! Got a good laugh, though.
