He needs to go to a urologist and have an examination. It is possible to break the connective tissue within the penile sack which could produce the non-cancerous lump you speak about. This can be serious and usually requires surgery to repair. He definitely needs to be examined by a urologist.

You have right to be scared. The only time I have heard of one bending is when the couple had really rough sex and bent it hard the wrong way accidentally. Your friend needs to go back to the doctor. If it is not cancer there is a whole host of things it could be... some of them really serious. And if you guys are having sex (it sounds like he's in too much pain....but) please use protection because this cound be part of a sexually transmitted disease. I realy hope your friend feels better soon.

I heard about this on the discover health channel. He has "broken" his penis. Its when the main blood vessel breaks. He needs to see a doctor as soon as possible. It can be very dangerous if not treated. And the Hardon when he wakes up is normal almost all guys do.

the only thing that sounds normal for a guy is to wake with a hardon which happens a lot to most of us... for the other stuff tell him to see a doc PRONTO to put his mind at rest

OMG you can not break it. it isn't a bone!!!!!!! he needs to go to his dr again. the lump may not be cancer but it could be pushing on something. the lump may have nothing to do with the penis its self. if that dr says there is nothing wrong go to another one. he has pain and that means there IS something wrong. but don't worry too much it could very well be something simple.

He needs to go to another doctor, right away, for a second opinion. Just because your doctor said it isn't cancer, doesn't mean that their isn't an immediate problem.

well, morning wood is not a problem, just an annoyance, but the lump and pain could be a hernia, or something along those lines

You're not SUPPOSED to bend it when it's hard.
As for that OTHER stuff, get to a different DOCTOR. Something is very wrong there.

Maybe hes sprained it, doesnt sound like its broken, but you should take him to the hospital, get them to have a look at it.
It could be pretty serious.
