Yes, everybody can...
The thing is that they have not yet achieved the level needed for that to happen...

I think the best chance for that to happen would be in 2010. When the World Cup is in Europe, the European countries all play better. However in 2002, S. Korea has a nice run, in 1994 Cameroon had a nice run. Maybe outside of Europe an African nation will finally win the World Cup. It won't happen this year however!

purely went with a excellent 6 a million)All Blacks - there is little question that they are the variety crew today, notwithstanding each individual knows what takes position even as it contains WC time. conserving that notwithstanding, they're playing interior a similar position they gained all of it those years in the past. 2)South Africa - This became a toss up for me between the boks and the Wallabies. If South Africa can play like they did the different 3 hundred and sixty 5 days they're going to be demanding to end. 3)Australia - With the reds entering sort , Australia may be searching like plausible crew this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. With Robbie Deans on the helm and mixtures like Genia-Cooper they'd be unstoppable 4)France - likely will make a Semi very last yet i am going to't see them scary the great 3 communities 5)eire - Are able to causing Upsets, may even make the semi finals 6)England - in the experience that they could grant a crew that talked about them win the 2003 international cup

Ghana might have a shot at it in 2010. They won the U20 World Cup in 2005. So next World Cup they would have mostly the same team as last year's U20 World Cup. But I doubt that any African team will ever win the World Cup.

If the team is good enough any country could win the World Cup.

Yes. Only if they learn how to be clinical in front of goal. The need to produce more strikers who can read the game better and score tap In's to add to the skills they already posses then they will be capable. And Nigeria if the sort out their problem with Yakubu and get a left winger in time for 2010, and Kalou develops into one and Cameroon builds a really good side around E'too Africa Will be more than capable of getting a winner from amongst them.

it is not impossible, but it will probably be when the world cup is played in an african country. right now all of the african countries have been eliminated from it at Germany. Ghana being the las one yesterday, they were eliminated by Brasil.

I think they can Ghana this year did much better than people thought and the only reason their out of the tournament is because of Brazil.... If they played like France or Switzerland they probably would be in the Quarter Finals right now... Watch out 2010 when the wold cup will be in SOuth Africa because they will most likely get to the quarters if not do better....

I think it miight be possible, maybe two or three World Cups from now.
There is a proviso, however: a country with good players, such as Ghana or Nigeria, would have to hire a tough, top-notch coach with perfect strategic and tactical understanding. Someone like Felipão (Portugal's coach), for instance.
Will they have the money to pay his princely salary?

Yep, everything is possible. They need time and gain international experience. The fact is that African countries don't have enough financial support and they are not able to improve and develop technically. I'll prise for them in the future

Sooner or later, it's going to happen. There is too much talent and they are gaining experience. The next world cup is in Africa so that might be the time.
