That is so nice!! But also so sad. I think you can donate them to a nice shelter or nice pet store or children's place [hospital, school, etc.], but don't donate them to scientific research or let them free!!

Check with your local elementry school and also check with some of the local daycare centers this time of year may be hard for some schools but in some areas there is a wide varity in the ages of children so many of them enjoy having the little extras like this .

Don't give them to kids at the supermarket. Their parents may not appreciate your generosity. My son came home from school once with two rats and I threatened to throw them in the incinerator if the animal control officer didn't take them! I could've choked the teacher that gave them to him. Advertise on the grocery store bulletin board, etc. or call around and see if any schools, daycares, etc. might take them. You could also try the animal shelter or sell them to a pet store.

Try a local school, some teacher use them for teaching purposes. Or a local daycare, call first, some people might not like showing up with 9 hamsters, lol.

Don't give them to people who have no experience with hamsters. The best place to take them would be a small animal rescue in your area. Petfinder.com has a listing of animal rescues, so you could try to find one there.

Aww... I wish I could take them... I love animals :)

If you'd like you can Pets' Shelter and ask them where's the best place. Or, you can go to the zoo and give the adorable creatures to them... They always need new wild-life creatures there :)

The best place to take them is your vetrinarian or the local ASPCA. Most ASPCA's take small animals nowadays.
