Yes you should. Your family is not living your life in your skin. Love should be color blind. Follow your heart and if your family doesn't catch up, then they don't love themselves enough to love you and respect your life choices. As a husband, part of your responsibility is to protect your wife from anyone who would bring her harm. Do not let your family hurt her feelings. If they can't respect her because she is black then drop them like a hot potato.

Yes! If you are in love with this woman, the race card shouldn't even matter. Your family isn't the one marrying her, so don't worry what they think. Over time they will either learn to accept it, tolerate it or live in their ignorance. Don't give in to their pressures, marry her because you care about this women don't not wed her because of family that will be a big mistake.

If that is whatcha wanna do then go for it, im White myself and I prefer to marry a White Woman but that's just me.
However if anyone in my Family wants to marry outside their own race that is fine with me, if my Sister wants to marry a Black Man that is fine with me too (although she is dating a White guy anyways, might marry him too we'll see).

If you are white I just have to say, that life is had enough without adding the additional stress of disaproval from your family. if you think you are strong enough to handle the conflict with your family and the disaproving stares that WILL come your way. GO FOR IT. but, i have to tell you you wont be accepted into her family W/o some trials. be ready. good luck.

Yes, you should explain to your family that though the culture and/or color may be different she is still a person like everyone else and that you truly love her.
