Oh my, this is a hard question! But i'm gonna list my guys/gals I'd wanna be!
Girls:
Jean Grey/Phoenix: Cause she's the phoenix of the white crown, and therefore is super powerful, plus it'd be cool to have TP (telepathy) and TK (telekinesis) powers!
Laura Kinney-Logan/X-23: (although she is Wolverine's clone, I do like her a lot! Evo turned me on to her charrie and the comics keep her cool!) Cause she's got EVERYTHING WOLVIE'S got and she's very withdrawn and quiet, (which is the total opposite of me!).
Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat: Cause it'd be cool to phase though walls and stuff. I'd be able to get to classes and other places faster!
Guys:
Kurt Wanger/Nightcrawler : Cause I could get to school faster and his power's cool! I mean he can go anywhere (within 2 miles) and be back at the manision before anyone knows he's gone!

That's a question I couldn't answer, since I'm ALREADY a member of the X-men, with my fantastic ice powers and stupendous iceslides and numerous connections with various superpowered good guys and whatnot.
But if I weren't already an X-man, you can bet I'd want to be Iceman - the best mutant with the coolest powers! ;)

I would like to be Collosious. Sure, he's Russian and all, but who wouldn't want to be able to turn their whole body into Titanium in a blink of an eye to avoid fatal injuries? The super strength that comes from his titanium body is a major bonus as well.

Storm cause she can change the weather but I would also want to be Nightcrawler (even though I'm a girl) he can go transport from one place to another.
Come on and tell me you wouldn't love to get to work faster with that kind of power.

Gambit - if I were a guy, cause he can blow things up with a mere touch. And he's slick with the ladies...
But since I'm a girl, I've always liked Penance from Gen-X, she's pretty much indestructible and mysterious!

Synch if in the Marvel Universe (why? u all know its not long untill theres whole lot of mutants again), Forge in the real world (Not a power that people cant really tell untill they see your firepower you created... and well you become basically a one man army

Jean Grey- She's the most powerful of all.And I like her
hair.
Collosus- I like his power to turn into metal and withstand
high temperature.
Storm-She's great, I love her powers. Who wouldn't like to
control the weather?

I would choose storm's power because if I didn't want to work I would make it sonow so eveything would closed down for the day.
